So the Cheeto-faced Shit-Gibbon is pleased that Ratcliffe has proof that Hunter Biden’s laptop, which was purportedly left in a store by Biden in April 2019, contained information about a plot by the FBI to plant evidence at Mar-a-Lago and then retrieve them in a raid over 3 years later. Maybe Hunter has access to a time machine.
Interesting how the FBI somehow made Trump and his lawyers lie about having surrendered all of the documents bearing classified information in January.
It’s pure Looney-tunes, which means the Trump supporters will lap it up.
I hope that Judge Dearie gives the Trump team one week to prove these allegations against the FBI.
Last I heard, the FBI took Hunter’s laptop to hide everything on it and we, the people, need it returned so that we can find all the dirt on it. Since, you know, Giuliani couldn’t be bothered to do that when he had the thing, three years ago, and the NY Post couldn’t be bothered to make a backup and Mac Isaac couldn’t be bothered, either.
So either a group of reporters and people allied against Biden couldn’t be bothered to investigate a laptop in their possession for months, couldn’t find anything on it beyond what they reported at the time, or are Deep State agents who decided to slam Hunter and Joe Biden just enough to gain confidence with Trump while working with the FBI.
In all cases, Ratcliffe would not have anything new to report.
Or it’s a Trump dementia fever dream. Probably that.
I was grocery shopping this morning, and in what seems like one of the best indicators that trump is finally in trouble that he can’t weasel out of, the cover of the latest National Enquirer in the checkout aisle had a big headline: TRUMP GOING TO JAIL. Complete with a photoshopped pic of trump in an orange jumpsuit. Orange really is his color.
This seems pretty huge, since trump is best buddies with David Pecker, the owner of the National Enquirer. NE cover stories usually have fawning headlines about trump or vicious headlines about his opponents.
A subtitle did say something about trump being “trapped by vengeful FBI agents”. But then there were bulletpoints, one of which said “Nuke codes found at Mar-a-Lago”. Uhh, how was he trapped if they found him with nuke codes? It’s like saying “vengeful police trap murder suspect by finding him with dead body and smoking gun”. I suppose the article may have gone on to say the nuke codes were planted or something, but I didn’t get past the cover. And what is the FBI vengeful about, exactly? I find it so ridiculous that trumpets try to claim that the FBI, traditionally a bastion of conservativism, is in league with the commie liberal Deep State.

Yeah, exactly. I saw a contributor on MSNBC, a former high muckety muck in the FBI, who said he could assure us that the idea that most FBI agents are in thrall to the Dems and the left is laughable. No stats were shared (that would be inappropriate if not illegal), but he smiled when he said he was very confident that the demographics for FBI agents skewed Republican and conservative.
He just as quickly provided assurance that none of that matters; agents leave their politics at the door.

I agree with this quote. The problem is, what they did was NOT legal. They broke the wiretapping laws. Does not sound legal to me.
