A Perfectly Reasonable Amount of Schadenfreude about Things Happening to Trump & His Enablers (Part 1)

That was disproved when the evangelicals went for Reagan over Carter.

The Herschel Walker story, incredibly, gets even crazier:

His “defense” now is that everybody makes mistakes, and he is redeemed through Christ, so…

It appears even Christ makes mistakes.

You got that right!

So, it was just a ‘my bad, but I am better now’ when he did it. But he wants anyone else who does it to go to prison.

He sent her a get well card. Classy guy.

Jesus Christ. Some guy on Twitter just laid the perfect evisceration of Ron Desantis regarding this widely-publicized photograph from yesterday:

Well, he’s the one that got her “sick”.

Although perhaps we can make a decent estimate.

  • We know that if Hershel Walker gets a woman pregnant he sends out checks to pay them to get abortions.
  • We know that he has 3 children that he didn’t acknowledge until recently.
  • Let P be the proportion who take the money and discretely “take care of things” vs have an unacknowledged child. (P is probably significantly greater than 0.5)

Then the number of abortions he has paid for is approximately 3*P/(1-P)

So for example if 70% take the money then he’s paid for 3*(0.7)/0.3= 7 abortions

Gonna tell my children this was the Drake equation…

Long live the Dope!

Trump is coming to Mesa for a rally at the huge 3,000 seat Bell Bank Park aka Legacy Sports. The park has been losing money hand over fist and is facing closure. According to this article the park is looking forward to the money they have been promised for hosting him.

I’m guessing the place will be closed down by the end of the year.

Nevermind

Oh, those poor, poor, innocent souls.

And once again we must deplore the personal prejudice that led Alfred Nobel to decline to institute a Prize for Mathematics.

Instead, there is the Abel Prize.

Sure, but it doesn’t have the “household name” recognition of the NP.

Still, I guess we ought to nominate Buck…

And I’ve never understood why this myth grew legs.

Nobel’s wife was a wealthy European woman, who lived within commuting diatance of countless first-call gigolos on the Riviera.

Why the hell would she have an affair with a… mathematician?!

As a wise man once said: "It’s a fool who looks for logic in the chambers of the human heart."
