Living in Arizona I’m getting a lot of those and I approve – it’s five bucks that won’t go into Masters’ campaign coffers.
“Emo Trump! Emo Trump!”
Perfect!
De jure, not de facto. That is, they preach a good game, but…
Graham’s lawyers had asked the court to block a subpoena from Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis (D), claiming that a sitting senator is shielded from such investigations. But a three-judge panel of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 11th Circuit denied Graham’s request and upheld a lower-court ruling narrowing the range of questions prosecutors can ask.
“Senator Graham has failed to demonstrate that this approach will violate his rights under the Speech and Debate Clause,” according to the six-page order…
Bannon gets four months in prison.
Four months of nothing but pruno.
That seems about right to me. Enough time to serve as a deterrence to others. Each subsequent asshole in contempt should get a bit more, until this madness stops. It’s not complicated, you have to comply with subpoenas or go to court to complain. You cannot simply ignore them, even if you’re unhappy about it.
We know that Bannon likes to wear multiple shirts with multiple popped collars, but why does he also need to walk around with three identical pens at the ready? Does he risk running out of ink in not one, but two pens and needs a third so not to disappoint his adoring fans clamoring for autographs?
What a douche.
Maybe he’s worried about being confronted by a guy with three swords.
You might’ve cracked the multiple pen question…not let’s get to the multiple “exterior” shirt wearing. Is that padding in case the pens fail him?
He can technically claim to be a three-time bank robber.
Hell, if he grows an extra arm, he’s all set!
It almost looks to me like the kind of “decoration” you’d see on a military or paramilitary shirt. Maybe he’s going for the look in a stupidly subtle way?
Aspirational, perhaps. Bannon left the navy with just two stripes (Lt).
Maybe he’s a fan of One Piece.

“The nine-member panel issued a letter to Trump’s lawyers, demanding his testimony under oath by Nov. 14 and outlining a request for a series of corresponding documents, including personal communications between the former president and members of Congress as well as extremist groups.”
I hope he will have to serve it but I have some doubts; if he can drag the appeal process out until DeSantis/Lake are inaugurated in early 2025*, he could reasonably hope for a pardon. They will want his rabble-rousing skills at the ready.
At least, schadenfreude-wise, he WILL be on the hook for substantial legal fees during the appeals process. (Of course he’ll be asking the benighted MAGA suckers to pay all that, but…still.)
/ * I really hope this does NOT happen–but if the GOP makes big gains in two weeks (November 8), a fair Presidential election may turn out to be an impossibility.
