Instead of one day of presents, Mike Pence gives us six crazy nights.
Since COVID the other two nights are wick from home.
Is that… there to the bottom… is that a dragon?
Damn, I had no idea Judaism was so cool!
It is known.
And see:
What did you think powered the space laser?
funny
The bonsai tree in the middle is what intrigues me.
The distinction between a “menorah” and a “hanukkiah/Chanukkia/Hanukkah menorah” has puzzled smarter people than Mike Pence. But you would think that even Mike Pence could have figured out that maybe you should consult a rabbi or other person actually knowledgeable about Jewish festivals to proofread your greeting card before issuing public good wishes on the occasion of a Jewish festival.
Just proving that Jews are Asian.
YES!
Maybe they can release each page has limited-edition NFTs.
Donny won’t be sleeping tonight. Just screaming at the help. And throwing things.
So sad!
I’d be astonished if this isn’t litigated by Trump, stayed with a temporary restraining order, and delayed long enough that the new Congress/committee cancels the release. Or something along those lines.
He’s kinda sorta already tried that.
I think the SCOTUS is sick of this and isn’t interested anymore.
He’s already tried all that. He’s out of runway; there’s nobody left to appeal to.
Well he hasn’t asked me MY opinion! (He wouldn’t like it!)
That’s the release to Congress, or more specifically to a couple Congressional committee chairs. That’s actually mandated by law and his suit should have been tossed immediately by every court around. But the Congressional committee releasing them to the general public is a different thing. There’s no law requiring that. He could argue privacy and probably has a good chance of winning.
I’d think the separation of powers would prohibit the SC from dictating what the Legislative Branch can and cannot release from their investigations, particularly in the absence of a specific law prohibiting it. Of course, there is no unenumerated right to privacy that can be applied from the Constitution.
Now that it appears that the Department of the Treasury has some questions to answer about the required Presidential Audits that seem not to have been performed, as required, I suspect the SC will let this play out between the Executive and Legislative branches before they get involved.
