A Perfectly Reasonable Amount of Schadenfreude about Things Happening to Trump & His Enablers (Part 1)

:person_raising_hand:

This is even a question?

Being even more Trump than Trump

What a piece of work. I saw that story on Twitter, but it was so poorly worded I couldn’t really make out what happened. This article certainly clears it up. If McCarthy doesn’t black-ball him over this - he should demand his resignation along with ever other sane politician in Washington - it’s proof he has no spine, nor morals … but I think we all knew that.

But it will make him look like he has no balls. He cares about that. Especially now.

I think the fact they knew since August that Santos’ dude was bilking contributors and did nothing does a fine enough job of that.

Now that is just straight up criminal fraud. Getting people to donate money to him by impersonating someone else, and falsifying an endorsement?

With how broken the US political system is, I don’t expect anyone will ever go to jail because of this, but they damn well should end up in jail.

Sorry, but I can’t parse the emphasized text at all without finding an implication that you think either McCarthy or Santos is sane.

Trump’s attorneys, including Alina Habba, responded afterward with a letter saying hadn’t realized they were required to respond within three days and asked for a three-day extension to file their response.

Glad to see he’s still attracting top-flight legal talent.

As if he wasn’t already feeling sufficiently triggered by Tish James.

As the ferrets go at themselves a bit more…

girls, girls…easy now.

You have to get behind someone before you can stab them in the back.

Every accusation is an admission:

I’m sure he will use his legal-fu to get out of it.

I was amused by his claim that he only pled guilty in 1999 to sexual abuse of a 9 year old, because of “what happened to Flynn” when he pled guilty of lying to the FBI in 2017.

There is probably a Q theory about time not being linear.

Also, who was this guy, that over 20 years ago, “THEY” decided to entrap him? It’s pure narcissism to claim you’re just that important.

Ugarte: You despise me, don’t you?

Rick: If I gave you any thought I probably would.

Weisselberg gets 5 months at Rikers Island for tax fraud.

The light sentence was due to a plea deal in which he testified against two Trump companies resulting in them being convicted of felonies, and investigations into the Trump Organization continue. CNN reports:

Judge Juan Merchan on Tuesday said had he not already promised a five-month sentence to Weisselberg, he would have issued a stiffer sentence “much greater” than five months after listening to evidence at trial.

Without a deal, Weisselberg faced a sentence as long as five to 15 years in prison.

You go to Rikers for fraud? I thought it was for heavier crimes.
