A Perfectly Reasonable Amount of Schadenfreude about Things Happening to Trump & His Enablers (Part 1)

Rudy, you scamp!

It seems that the Feds are renewing the requests of warrants after they encountered one of the many moves by the corrupt Trump administration when he or his henchmen stopped the previous requests.

:: steeples fingers ::

Excellent.

I can’t tell you how intensely I long to be in a position to shed a schadenfeuderly tear for Bill Barr, after his indictment for…any of the many corrupt acts he committed as Attorney General.

:: and then he shows all the peoples ::

Awesome

Ha-haw!

The narrative I hear from the right about the markets and the increased vaccination rate is that Biden is just using “Trump’s plan”, which is a bit like when your wife opens a jar you couldn’t open and you claim to have “loosened it for her” not speaking from personal experience here.

Sweeeet.

Of course he has, er, something to say about it: Rudy Giuliani tells Tucker Carlson what happened during FBI raid in bizarre interview [Video]

I am not a lawyer, but it’s my understanding that the very best thing to do when you’re under investigation by the FBI is to go on national television and talk about the case. Rudy’s just showing his legal smarts by going on Tucker’s show.

Maybe he’s laying the groundwork that will lead to GQP supporters storming the courthouse where the trial is being held.

Yeah, but they’ll end up at the mall food court.

I seem to recall a number of posters around here in the early days of the Trump admin who claimed they didn’t care what his policies were, as long as their 401K was doing well. So I have to assume those same people are now in full support of Biden. :face_with_raised_eyebrow:

The city of San Antonio had elections yesterday &, if I’m reading this right, there is only 1 Trumpy asshole remaining in the city council, & the Trumpy asshole running for Mayor got trounced. Four years ago the same Trumpy asshole forced a runoff (and thinking of the impact of having a Trumpy asshole government during COVID makes the 2017 election one of the three most consequential mayoral races in our cities 300 year history), but this time it wasn’t even close.

So feeling pretty good about my city right now.

Good job San Antonio!

Let’s see. A black woman in FLA got 5 years for voting in election while not realizing her rights had been revoked because of a prior felony conviction.

This guy should do at least that long, if there is any justice.

Nope, no justice.

Bruce Bartman, 70, pleaded guilty Friday to two counts of perjury and one count of unlawful voting and was sentenced to five years of probation,

Texas, not Florida, if you’re thinking of Crystal Mason, as referred to here in @mhendo’s post.

Uh… yeah, sure, good luck with that…

As a federal investigation into Rudolph W. Giuliani escalates, his advisers have been pressing aides to former President Donald J. Trump to reach into a $250 million war chest to pay Mr. Giuliani for his efforts to overturn the results of the 2020 election on Mr. Trump’s behalf…

Well I do hope someone is holding their breath.

Isn’t that sort of like if a hit man is on trial for murder, and he asks the mob boss to please pay him for the guys he whacked?

I mean, you’re asking to be paid for the criminal act for which you’re on trial. That can’t be a winning proposition for the mob boss.
