That first part really confuses me (see this thread) but the loyalty is just one of those things. Who’s to say what goes on in the heads of these scumbags? But Trump really has found the formula for finding the right kind of scumbags, and telling them the right things, so that show incredible loyalty to him, even though he has never shown a shred of loyalty to another human in his life. Weisselberg is not apparently a stupid person, he must surely know Trump is not going to return that loyalty (and a pardon is not an option for a state offense anyway), what is he thinking?
