Given his food paranoia, I could imagine him regularly ordering 8 or 10 burgers and then choosing one of them that looks the best and throwing the rest away so that the poisoner doesn’t know which burger he will take.
A good portion of my growing up years were in the Tri-State Area of Northern Virginia, DC, and Maryland. Even as a young teenager, I was fully aware of all of that about Tan the Conman. I’m still shocked my late mother went, literally overnight, from calling him a lying bastard to supporting him for the presidency.
They believe that because they believe the birtherism nonsense also. Thus he’s just like them and they’re sure they know how to run the country: put someone just like them at the president’s desk.
I’m sorry, but I don’t find this assertion credible, specifically the bit about “pays lip service sometimes to things he may not actually believe in” and “he hides things from the public”. Really, this is just a rewording of “all politicians are alike”. Nope, they’re not. Some are outright scum. Trump and his supporters are absolute proof of that.
Given how he drinks bottled water, that’s probably the only rational choice he’s managed to make in years.
That was exactly my point, except in the past tense, because this is no longer true. Biden is (probably) a normal, old-line politician, with (in my opinion) mostly good points but most likely not perfect. Trump is a thug and criminal, and as every honest person has already noted, completely off the “normal” chart, while attempting to make a new normal.
While I’m not exactly proud of this fact, I’ve had Doordash deliver McDonald’s in the past. It always comes in those bags, no matter the quantity of items. I’ve had two egg Mcmuffins delivered in one of those bags.

I would not vote for Donald Trump in 2024. But I also do not want to sit here and catastrophize the scenario where he is actually the Republican nominee.
