Making Arithmetic Great Again!
I can testify that 10/10 is indeed equivalent to 100%, so once again, Our Lord and Savior Trump is completely correct.
People are saying that they did not know this amazing math before Trump showed us. Big Strong Men with tears in their eyes came up and said “Thank you President Trump for showing us this amazing math trick!”
I should contact His Holiness and ask where to find the missing dollar!
Sorry, he’s under indictment, so he can’t let you see his tax returns.
But if you run across it, send it to him. It’s his.
The buck stops in Trump’s pocket.
Each of the defamed poll workers was awarded $16M+ for reputational damage and $20M for infliction of emotional distress; in addition, Giuliani was ordered to pay $75M in punitive damages.
That is Schadenfreude at last! Do you still have debt prisons in the USA?
That warms my heart. Who knows how much of that cash they’ll actually see, but fuck Rudy Giuliani in his gin-soaked ass with a voting machine. Those women didn’t deserve anything that fuckface doled out at the behest of his golden cash idol and they deserve everything they can get out of him. I hope he ends up begging for cigarette butts in Alphabet City.
God, I hate that asshole.
For better or worse no.
When a person can’t pay a judgement then the obligation to collect is usually on the people receiving it. And if a person actually can’t pay because they’re broke, you’re not getting it.
That’s why Alex Jones tried to pull that bullshit about having to file bankruptcy after losing big time to the Sandy Hook families he defamed and harassed.
Off your X-Mas list, eh?
In my case, the guy’s broke and doing 15½ years in prison.
Unfortunately that seems unlikely. According to New York law, 90% of your gross income (or 75% of your disposable income if that is greater) is immune to collection. So between lawyer bills, the Dominion suit and this, he will lose all of his current assets and take a 10% cut off the top of any future earnings, but he has probably got enough celebrity earning power to keep off skid row.
While I’m sorry to see Guilliani get off with his shirt intact, I’m glad that those laws exist for those who are not as well off as he is and find themselves as the mercy of collectors.
Hmm, can’t say I disagree.
My hope is that the final retribution comes down on the author of the scheme, i.e., Mr. Trump himself.
For me, it’s not so much schadenfreude anymore as it is fremdschämen.
I like that word - it describes why I couldn’t watch The Office for a long time - I was embarrassed for Michael.
So is “Vergüenza ajena” , the reason I can’t watch most Peter Seller’s movies.
It’s also why I have trouble watching plays. What if an actor messes up on stage?
You muddle through it as best you can and get back on track. I speak from experience.
Sounds like me with Jerry Lewis films.
