"Before adjourning, Justice Merchan asks each side whether they have anything to add. Blanche mounts one last ditch effort, rising to “strenuously object to everything happening in this courtroom.” He is incensed once again at the fact that his client will spend two months on this trial rather than on the campaign trail.
Justice Merchan has had enough. “What’s your legal argument?” he asks Blanche.
Blanche responds that was his legal argument.
“That’s not a legal argument,” Merchan declares.
“Anything else? No? Then I’ll see you March 25.” At 11:08, Merchan gavels hearing to a close."
Fox News cuts away from coverage of Trump rally and facts-checks him after the serial lying gets too much even for them … although the fact that broadcasting lies recently cost them an $800 million settlement may have been a factor, too …
I want every nickel the RNC owns to go to pay Donald Trump’s legal bills.
I want all fundraising for every part of the Republican Party to go to pay Trump’s half billion dollar judgements.
I want every single Republican candidate for US congress, for state houses country wide to donate every cent they collect directly to the Donald Trump Reimbursement Fund.
I want every Republican donor to send every donation directly to Donald Trump so he can pay off the half billion dollars he owes.
I’d like to see every Republican politician country wide have exactly ZERO dollars to spend on their own upcoming election.
“Dammit, Donnie, if you hadn’t been so frackin’ stupid, we could have funded other Republican candidates’ campaigns. No, instead we’re stuck paying the fines for your fraud. Thanks a helluva lot, asshole.”
That’s what I’d like to hear the Republican party say. I don’t think the party as a whole will, but I’m pretty sure that there are grumblings among the lower rank-and-file who are trying to be elected, that are along these lines.
