I agree with this. In giving her description, I think that Daniels was taking pains to emphasize that she didn’t seduce donald, which might have been the presumption based on her profession.
Rather, he invited her to dinner, and she arrived dressed to go out. He was the one who arrived in his pajamas, and who had arranged a private dinner in the hotel suite. And he was the one who undressed and beckoned her over.
Sure, it was transactional. But that wasn’t her intention when she arrived. She had no designs on having sex.
So although she did indeed “roll with it” (in part, I presume, because sex is more casual for her than others), she didn’t ask for it, and wasn’t looking for it.
I think that’s the message she was trying to impart.
Or perhaps more transactional, which fits his interactions with pretty much everybody.

It’s like the trump family has long been a cancer on America; in Guthrie’s day it was localized, but now has metastasized in an alarming way.

I remember when conservatives would criticize liberals for “virtue signaling.” I’m sure it still happens but it seemed to be more common during the Bush and Obama years. The thinking basically always seem to come down to “I only care about my own race/religion/tribe so everyone else that’s advocating for equality and acceptance must have ulterior motives.”
Which is to say, knowing full well that this vote was going to fail spectacularly, and that she wouldn’t even have significant support from her own party, this is by far one of the most spectacular and completely pointless virtue signals I’ve seen in quite some time. I’m impressed, for certain definitions of the word “impressed.”

Now that Barron is fair game, allow me to say that he looks just as ineffably stupid as his brothers – or half-brothers, or whatever the fuck they are. He has that same distinctive vacant expression that suggests a vague confusion about the world around him, a confusion that will never be resolved due to a deficiency of brain cells. It’s interesting because in the Great Orange Progenitor himself, the constant expression is more like hateful aggression. I guess the young’uns will grow into it eventually.
I won’t comment on his looks, but I think it will be interesting to discover where he goes for a post-secondary education. After all, Donald Trump attended Wharton, Eric attended Georgetown, and Don Jr. also attended Wharton. Ivanka attended Georgetown and U of Pennsylvania. Seems to me that a post-secondary education at a university is expected of members of the Trump family.
So where Barron goes will be interesting. I hope he has enough guts to make his own choice in schools, and is not influenced by his family.
I want to be clear on what I meant by this. If someone has an unusually shaped facial feature like nose or chin, that’s never fair game for ridicule. To justify ridicule, two conditions have to be met, IMHO. First, it has to be that typical Trump-family vacant glassy-eyed expression of total cluelessness that so well reveals the void within. Second, the vapid dumbasses have to be installed in a position of power. Those two conditions being met, IMHO all bets are off about criticizing their dumbass vapid appearance.
If everything else fails Sr. can always re-open his magnificent university, can he not?
I believe someone will be whispering in his ear in Slovak. A very practical language, this language — it’s the craziest thing — that is a language that nobody in this country has ever heard of. It’s a very horrible thing.
Again, I cannot comment, as I have not seen enough photos of Barron to form an opinion on his looks. But I have no doubt that Donald fully expects Barron the join the family circus, er, I mean business, and goes to their selected schools. I hope that Barron charts his own path, despite what Daddy Donnie says, and shakes the Trump “we expect this of you” stuff.
I’d like to see how the Trump family reacts should Barron choose to go to UC Berkeley.
