A Perfectly Reasonable Amount of Schadenfreude about Things Happening to Trump & His Enablers (Part 2)

Should I know the guy?

I’m curious if that Trump voter voted for him twice in two elections or one.

After losing his gun license in New York state due to his felony convictions, Trump’s liquor licenses at New Jersey golf courses are in jeopardy for the same reason … one or more of them have a temporary 90-day permit pending a hearing on the matter …

So the liquor license goes to a person rather than the business? I did not know that, just assumed a license would be tied to the relevant establishment.

I assume that liquor licenses are granted contingent on the record and character of the business owner who has to be trusted to conform to a variety of liquor laws. As much of a bureaucracy as liquor licensing is, it does actually seem to make sense to consider the trustworthiness of the establishment owner.

Maybe they can post this in the lounge.

A Guide for Teetotalers and Having Fun Without Alcohol

[Gomer Pyle Voice]Surprise! Surprise! Surprise![/GPV] The convict’s liquor liceneses are shady.

Alcohol regulators in New Jersey are asking Donald Trump’s golf club properties in the state to prove they deserve a renewed liquor license after the former president was found guilty on felony charges of falsifying business records.

Trump National Golf Club Bedminster as well as Trump National Golf Club Colts Neck are owned and operated by the Trump Organization which is currently run by Trump’s adult sons Donald Trump Jr and Eric Trump.

But the alcohol regulators say their review found that the former president is “the sole beneficiary of the Donald J Trump Revocable Trust” - the financial entity that allows him to retain assets and own his businesses.

Convicts must con, I guess.

The word turpitude does seem to fit.

Immoral derpitude.

After the “alley cat” remark, I fully expect to see his knuckle draggers coming to his rallies with cat ears and tails. It’s a little too cute to sting.

Derpy Don does have a ring to it.

Ya know, I felt kinda bad after the debate. But I think I’ll recover after the sentencing.

Oh. I’m a Republican. Or at least I was at one time.

Speaking of the sentencing, here’s my thread in The BBQ Pit about it.

Thank you. I’ll review that when I’m not under the influenc of

Fuk. I’m hammered.

Good excuse

Cats are insulted by this comparison. They would like to suggest “morals of a bonobo”.

I didn’t know you liked Japanese whiskey. (Link goes to Liquor Mates.)

Bonobo are very moral. Better to hump than fight. Or maybe that’s ethical. I always get those confused.

Can the Board’s legal (b)eagles explain to me why, exactly, the convict’s lawyers cannot be sanctioned. ISTM they were not putting forth legal arguments in good faith. During the impeachments and subsequent senate trials, they put forth the idea that the trial courts are the appropriate venue for the crimes he committed. Now that he’s been dragged in front of the courts, they put forth, and sadly the Supreme Court agreed with them, that impeachment and subsequent Senate trial is the appropriate venue.

Same lawyers?
