The MAGA chair of the GOP in Colorado has been voted out. His response? Basically, that they’re all RINOS and that the RNCC has no authority. He also calls the people who voted him out a “fringe minority” which is sadly probably pretty accurate. Fight! Fight! Fight! These chairs are getting kicked out a lot recently.
Williams: “I object! This vote is a travesty. It’s a travesty of a mockery of a sham of a mockery of two mockeries of a sham. I move for a recount. Do you realize there is not a single homosexual on that committee?”

Which reminds me- anyone got any news on the MI GOP? I recall about a year ago a big This American Life episode about face easting in the MI GOP, and there was some discussion here. Just wondering if anyone knows if/how that resolved.
Here in MA, the Trumpers took control of the GOP, which caused our VERY popular Republican governor to not seek re-election, put up a Trumper, went down in flames, giving us a gay progressive governor*, and then the Trumpers got ousted. Good times.
*I hope its clear that I say this from their perspective. I voted for her.
I think Mr. Williams is a traitor to this country because his views are different from the views of the President and others of his kind. Differences of opinion should be tolerated, but not when they’re too different. Then he becomes a subversive mother.

Yep. But she didn’t let us know which side was which. Were the MAGAs dumping the non-MAGAs or vice versa? (I thought it might be a MAGA purge of the more normals) I learned here that in Colorado it is the MAGA crazy who got kicked to the curb. Same in Michigan?
Yes. This issue is currently going on in Arizona, too. With MAGAs getting kicked out for not adhering to their legal responsibilities.
Seems like the right are slowly discovering that putting a bunch of petulant, incompetent idiots in charge is no way to get anything done.

The one I’m keeping an eye on is in Georgia, where Governor Brian Kemp is evidently exploring whether he has the authority to get rid of people (MAGAs) who aren’t willing to follow the rules for certification. Kemp isn’t above bending (breaking?) rules himself, as he demonstrated when he ran against Stacy Abrams for Governor. But he despises Trump, so… who knows?

Yeah, it’s gross. But Kemp is a political animal to the bone. He’s not going to shoot himself in the face. He’ll get away with what he can get away with, but he won’t do anything that would make him irrelevant to the Republican Party.
