I may be experiencing premature schadenfreude, but: imagine that the Truth Social stock continues to go down, down, down…with the likelihood that Trump’s supposed net worth will be neatly cut in half…and imagine how his state of mind will lead him to behave at the September 10 debate with Harris. (He pretty much has to show up as it’s the only thing that could change his downward trend in the polls.)
It seems certain that he will, at the very least, use BOTH “N-words”: “nasty” and The Big One.
100%. It’s one of his favorites to use against women who dare to confront him in public.
I have no reason to doubt reports that he used it during The Apprentice, but we’ve been watching him babble his stream of consciousness speeches for years now and he’s never - so far as I know - even stumbled towards that word. I’ll be extraordinarily surprised if he does it now.
Hah! Do you really think the magaflatearthers consider actually having a health plan in place important? No. Their concern was to have “Obamacare” canceled. That’s what was important to them.
Trump obviously didn’t care about anything but his pathetic ‘revenge’ against Obama. And yet these people still think he cares about them. Fuckin’ rubes.
I’m still voting that Judge Merchan, as sentence for his crimes, punish Trump by making him do all the things that he promised to do that had no external dependencies (e.g. not something he had to sell Congress on, just things he could do by himself) and to pay back the people for the things that he promised not to do but actually did. E.g. he has to release his tax returns, work community service equivalent to the amount of Presidential time that he spent golfing, return any emoluments, divest from his businesses for a period of four years, etc.
There’s supposed to be a limit to how much an individual can donate to a political campaign, right? Trump’s going to have to cut way back if Thiel is footing the whole bill.
Directly, yes. What Vance is likely proposing is Thiel donate to (or set up) a Super PAC, to which donations are unlimited. Legally, a Super PAC isn’t allowed to “coordinate” with a candidate’s campaign, but they can (and do) buy lots of advertising in support of their candidates.
I know. Does a vide-presidential candidate asking an individual, by name, to donate to a PAC count as illegal coordination between the PAC and campaign?
