There doesn’t have to be actual stealing for Trump to complain about this. When he finds out that Musk has profited more off MAGA than Trump has, Trump will declare that Musk stole all that money from Trump, since MAGA and all their money rightfully belongs to Trump.
The first time Trump paid attention to any of this was when he read about it in the newspaper. The story revealed that Trump’s very own transition team had raised several million dollars to pay the staff. The moment he saw it, Trump called Steve Bannon, the chief executive of his campaign, from his office on the 26th floor of Trump Tower, and told him to come immediately to his residence, many floors above. Bannon stepped off the elevator to find Christie seated on a sofa, being hollered at. Trump was apoplectic, yelling: You’re stealing my money! You’re stealing my fucking money! What the fuck is this?
I am at a completely loss for why anyone pledges any loyalty to Trump, or expects him to do anything in their favor that isn’t ancillary to his own enrichment.
They just seem to think that they are somehow the special ones who Trump won’t use and discard. It never actually works like that, but there seems to be an endless line of new sheep to be sheared to replace the old ones.
Except Trump doesn’t just shear them; he skins them alive and throws them still breathing under the the combine. Seriously, even as primed as the electorate is for fascism and autocracy, how does this guy find so many people willing to do his dirty work? What is the appeal of this clownish buffoon who has never been successful at anything except self-promotion and running waterfront casinos into bankruptcy? Ugh!
And for the majority of Americans: many are urging that if home on Monday 1/20 during the appropriate hours, DO have the television on, and obviously to some channel that isn’t showing the Inauguration.
(This in reply to calls to NOT watch TV at all on Monday. Having the TV on to another channel not only denies Trump ratings for his Big Show but increases the ratings of competitors.)
I thought you meant Facebook had hired an AI program as a lawyer, and even that thing was sick of them.
Reading the article, it appears that this is a person that they had hired as a legal consultant for AI matters (which makes a bit more sense than my first assumption).
