A Perfectly Reasonable Amount of Schadenfreude about Things Happening to Trump & His Enablers (Part 2)

Well…

If only a giant Jewish space laser could take out the Fulton County Courthouse…

Is anyone surprised by this?

Trump supporters post names and addresses of Georgia grand jurors online

I was surprised to the see the names of the Grand Jurors in the indictment.

On the one hand, it’s good because it means that normal people can verify that those people exist and verify that the indictment was, indeed, the product of their peers and not just some partisan miscreant.

But, yes, on the other hand it does mean that the jurors will be in a scary position for a while.

For longer than a while, I fear. Especially if it is a bad outcome for Trump.

As a side note, from that article I see that the N word may go out of use in favor of the R word. Potential problems for sailors and other users of pulleys, block and tackle, cranes, chain hoists and capstan winches.

For the rest of their lives and their children and grandchildren will be targets for life also.

‘There are people… bad people. You know who they are… Who brought these FAKE, WITCH HUNT CHARGES against your FAVORITE PRESIDENT. Now, I don’t want anything bad to happen to them. I’m sure they’re fine people when they’re not DESTROYING THE COUNTRY! But I would be very, very nervous if I attacked AMERICA! MAKE AMERICA GERAT AGAIN!’

Two women in Georgia were terrorized and had their lives threatened because there were allegations that they were changing votes.

These jury members definitively, on record, ensured that Trump and associates were served with multiple criminal charges.

I hesitate to think what they’ll go through now. They might need witness protection.

Indeed.

From this NBC article:

“These jurors have signed their death warrant by falsely indicting President Trump," a post on a pro-Trump forum read in response to a post including the names of jurors, which was viewed by NBC News.

Trump cultists are thugs.

He would disagree, since most of them are white.

Please make it perfectly clear that you made this quote up, and Trump didn’t really say it.

Poe’s law, and everything.

I made it up. I didn’t think I was a good enough writer for a Poe’s Law question.

Unfortunately, Poe’s law predicts that Trump will shortly post something chillingly similar.

Like others, I was alarmed to see that the grand jurors were named in the indictment. Not only will they have cause for concern, so will everyone else with similar names.

I take it posting this stuff, “doxxing” is not illegal? It seems to me that these people are stepping over the free speech line into “shouting fire” in a movie theater territory. YMMV, NAL etc.

The names of the jurors were listed in the indictment, which is a public document. It’s obviously a trivial matter to associate those names with addresses, phone numbers, and other personal information. Merely posting such widely available info almost certainly isn’t illegal in and of itself. Going beyond that to suggest action against the jurors may very well be illegal, although IANAL and I have no idea what could be done about it if it is.

As I said, and as is implied in the article, there may be other people with the same and similar names, so these would-be vigilantes may get some of the connections wrong, which would be a double travesty.

And every one of them is part of the deep state and is in on the conspiracy. Since there was no possible way they could have seen enough evidence to actually indict him since no such evidence exists. (channeling rightwing nut)

As I suggested in the P&E thread, the prosecutors might pushed to get it done in one day instead of two so that any juror intimidation would happen after the votes were cast rather than before.

I don’t know. I can’t see that targeting people via mistaken identity is any more wrong then accurately targeting for doing their civic duty. IN both cases completely innocent people are getting hurt.

ETA: I edited my post after scab picker quoted me so that is why his quote doesn’t match my post.

Ehh, I see it as more wrong. It doesn’t suck any less, though.

It was really close but a real Trump quote would have said “your FAVORITE PRESIDENT, ME”. He always clarifies that so no one can be confused about who he means.

A Let’s go, Brandon analog?
