Love Smith’s Kubrick stare.
When I was a teenager living on Guam, I had to get a photo taken for a military ID. (My dad was in the Navy and I lived on a military base there, so I needed one.) I did a total Kubrick stare for my photo because I thought it was cool. They made me do it again.

Thanks, @Johnny_L.A . Now who can identify all the (I assume) Batman villains? I’m afraid my comic book reading days are well into the past, so I don’t know half of them. Although I did immediately recognize Giuliani as the Penguin, so I’m not completely lost in this regard.

Not familiar with Ra’s Al Gul.
He was the leader of the League of Assassins. He was first created in 1971, so he’s certainly not new (been around in comics for over 50 years). I believe Bruce Wayne even had a kid with his daughter.
In the film Batman Begins, Liam Neeson played the character.
Ra’s is arguably Batman’s most dangerous villain. Intelligent, possessed of vast resources, and with far-reaching, carefully developed plans.
So, y’know, the opposite of the guy in the photo in everything but basic criminality.
Must admit - my knowledge of Batman villains doesn’t go much beyond the 60s show. To me, Batman will always be Adam West (although I loved Jack Nicholson as The Joker).
I believe only 5 of the 9 villains portrayed there were on the old TV show.
