Would the Saudis even take him if he was no longer useful?
I don’t think they would. He’d be pretty useless as a source of intelligence, unhinged, rambling and dumb like he is, and the Saudis hiding him would mean a great rift in the American-Saudi relations which are a difficult love/hate relationship anyway.
He’s not only useless, he’s also broke.
That’d be no concern for the Saudis, they have enough money of their own.
On the other hand, some of his cult my follow him, which would mean that a) they wouldn’t be voting here, and b) they’d be making trouble for whoever is dumb enough to take him. (Regrettably, I don’t think many would actually go, but one can hope.)
Alternatively… throw the MAGA’s at the Russians. They would be conscripted, given a non working rifle and no ammo.
I don’t think Trump is scared, I think he is PISSED. He has overwhelming support from the Republican party. He is going to the their nominee. I think he is angry that his popularity doesn’t make all this go away. Popularity is the only measure he knows for anything in life. Witness his obsession with polls, ratings, attendance at events. In his pea-brain, he just can’t fathom how his “numbers” don’t trump any stupid legal charges. So he keeps yelling about how unfair it is that the most popular politician in the world can be treated like this.

Honestly, I wouldn’t wish Trump on Snowden, but it would probably make some MAGA heads explode.
Trump has been really ranting on his social network. Being all tough guy. I saw someone refer to him as Yambo and I think it’s my new favorite nickname for him.
There’s no reason he can’t be both. He might be scared of what is happening to him and pissed that he is being treated like a regular person subject to things like “laws”.
