Karoline Leavitt’s family member is detained by ICE and facing deportation.
Not an immediate family member, but still…Leavitt’s brother’s baby mama.
Might not be a Schadenfreude kinda thing so much as an attempt to win a custody dispute in favor of Leavitt’s brother, via a corrupt use of ICE resources.
I read the baby/her nephew has been with his father since birth.
She was never gonna have custody. Seems there wasn’t much visitation either.
Not dismissing Dad could be getting him some insurance by tattling on Baby momma.
Either way, I doubt Karoline cares except it might embarrass her.
Tickles me that the Comey and James cases were tossed out. Trump case being a precedent just adds sprinkles to my icing.
Trump is reminding me of Stuart Smalley but with extremely deranged daily affirmations. Here is his latest “I’m good looking and gosh darn it, people like me”:
Jesus, he’s still bragging about “acing” the test for dementia.
When I was four years old, ‘You’re ugly’ was the harshest insult I could deliver.
He remebers that he took one, that is the icing of the acing. And a prefect physical exam, what else do you want?
I haven’t seen this posted elsewhere…apologies if I missed it.
Mitch McConnell and VP Vance are in a pissing contest regarding the proposed peace treaty between Russia and Ukraine.
Putin has spent the entire year trying to play President Trump for a fool. If Administration officials are more concerned with appeasing Putin than securing real peace, then the President ought to find new advisors.
This is a ridiculous attack on the president’s team, which has worked tirelessly to clean up the mess in Ukraine that Mitch–always eager to write blank checks to Biden’s foreign policy–left us.
If only you had shown some spine in January of 2021, Mitch. If only.
Technically turtles do have spines, but Mitch’s has never been in evidence.
Reading the stories about this, it sounds like the Baby Momma is someone they don’t really have much, if any, contact with. I doubt Leavitt or anyone in her family is losing sleep over this. If anything, it just makes the Trump administration look even tougher on immigration.
Jesus Christ, he is really losing it.
I don’t know how many times I’ve said that in the past after reading one of his deranged online screeds. But he seems to keep topping himself with the insanity and the inanity.
If only he would top himself.
He must be the most insecure person on the planet. Talk about whiny.
As I said in a prior thread, I would prefer that he have an Xmas miracle, like the Grinch (though he’d probably need to grow a LOT more than three sizes), and instead come clean on everything illegal and morally wrong he’s done, and who / what / when / where all his ACCOMPLICES did as well. And spend the rest of his term crowing it to the stars and cooperating fully in his efforts at contrition. Watching the fallout, and MAGA breaking into brand new CT’s about the Trump “replacement” would not only be a 3-bowl-popcorn-extravaganza, but might let a new administration walk in with a perfect storm of reasons for a clear slate.
I’ll settle for a lot less, but I’ll trade all of my Hanukah gifts for the next decade+ for this one.

The 11th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals found that Trump and his attorneys had engaged in "sanctionable conduct" with their suit against Clinton and others.
“Mr. Trump is a prolific and sophisticated litigant who is repeatedly using the courts to seek revenge on political adversaries. He is the mastermind of strategic abuse of the judicial process, and he cannot be seen as a litigant blindly following the advice of a lawyer. He knew full well the impact of his actions,” [Judge] Middlebrooks wrote,
As an aside, I’m having the same trouble that others have reported with links to NBC News. I get a flash of the article and then a page that says “Something Went Wrong - Access to NBC News is temporarily unavailable.” That’s using Safari. I tried with Firefox and had no trouble accessing the article. Apparently NBC News doesn’t like Safari. ![]()

Earlier today, I got that “Something went wrong” message from NBC in Firefox. I didn’t try to go to the article, though.
But in case anyone wants a different link, here’s an article about the same decision on a different site:
https://www.axios.com/2025/11/26/trump-hillary-clinton-lawsuit-sanction
A conservative federal appeals court unanimously upheld nearly $1 million in sanctions against President Trump and his former attorney Alina Habba for filing what it called a “frivolous” lawsuit against Hillary Clinton and other political enemies.
BTW, my guess is that SCOTUS will either not accept the appeal or rule against Trump. It’s small potatoes compared to other cases and they want to give the false appearance of neutrality about Trump.
That’s using Safari.
