I think Trump wants the title. His ego demands that he’s the richest, strongest, smartest, greatest, most admired man the world has ever known. The more titles he has the greater the legacy he leaves behind.
We’ve seen this before with golf. He’s the champion at every course he owns. If there’s a tournament that he doesn’t participate in, he still wins because “he played a round on his own”. There are books written about how much he cheats at golf.
Remember when the FBI raided Mar A Lago for the classified documents? In those same boxes were fake Time magazine covers with his face on them. He apparently has those hanging all over the place. When I was in Junior High it was trendy to have a phony magazine cover with our pictures on them, but everybody knew it was fake. Most of us outgrow that kind of empty glory in favor of earned recognition before we hit puberty.

Trump has the medal framed in a huge, ummm, frame. Obama is simply showing the award and plaque that he received. It’s clear that for Trump, bigger is better and hanging that on his wall is yet another ego boost. Earning doesn’t matter, it’s the having. I’d bet that it was somebody in Trump’s circle that dictated what the plaque would say in return for his support.
It just boggles my mind that people think he’s a manly man when he so clearly relishes false honors. If others won’t honor him, he just buys things that will. The only word I have for a loser like him is poser.
