A Perfectly Reasonable Amount of Schadenfreude about Things Happening to Trump & His Enablers (Part 3)

Looks like tough sledding for Cheeto Mussolini in his SCOTUS Fed-governor-firing case, too.

That was mind-boggling.

Judge not having Donny Demento’s ballroom plans.
A federal judge has questioned the legality of Trump’s ballroom project. He dismissed comparisons to a swimming pool or tennis court, and noted the law gives Congress control of building projects on federal property in DC.

Congress has mandated review by multiple agencies before construction begins.

The DoJ claimed that Trump bypassed that legislation by raising the funds privately, and that also removed the project from judicial review. But the judge noted the donations were made to the National Park Service, which also is under Congressional authority, and the direct transfer of those funds to a newly created White House office is also likely illegal.

DoJ also argued that the project falls under “the president’s personal interest in his residence”, which gives him discretion. The judge reminded them that Trump is a temporary occupant of the White House, which is specifically why construction projects are under national control.

So could the NPS disburse those funds to actual public projects? Hiring more rangers? Improving facilities?

I would love that.

Step one. Put Teddy Roosevelt’s mug on the pass. He created national parks. Void any pass that has the traitors face on it. Print new ones of course.

Fun fact: the first national park was created in 1872 when President Ulysses S Grant signed legislation setting aside 2.2 million acres for Yellowstone.

Are Facebook posts subject to copyright? Because here’s one about the Melania Trump documentary:

Melania Trump’s movie is bombing so hard Amazon has moved from marketing to damage control.

The documentary cost about $75 million all in, between a $40 million acquisition and another $35 million to shove it into more than 1,400 theaters across 27 countries. Despite that, it’s tracking at roughly $5 million for opening weekend.

That’s a face-plant.

According to reports, Jeff Bezos has now ordered Amazon executives to physically show up at premiere events around the country to make it look supported. Nearly two dozen premieres are scheduled the night before release, with corporate brass dispatched as morale boosters.

The contrast is brutal. Amazon is spending more on marketing this than the entire push behind The Eras Tour, which opened to more than $120 million worldwide and went on to clear $260 million. Melania’s film might not make back ten cents on the dollar.

Social media clips show audiences booing the trailer in theaters. Amazon won’t screen it for critics. At this point, it’s less a rollout than a corporate hostage situation.

YES I hope this happens!

hahahahahahahahahahahaha

Thanks for the correction. I thought Teddy did it.

It was never about making money. It was always about bribing Trump.

And now it’s a bribe that can be written off on taxes as a business loss.

This isn’t aimed at anyone in particular, but I wish y’all would stop misspelling The America-hating fuckstick.

How come that otherwise aparently competent businessmen ignore all available evidence that you cannot bribe the temper tanTrump in the White House and extract a benefit from that bribe, as the Bribed One will consider the bribe proof that he got the money fair and square and proceed to fuck you up any time he feels like it? He has done it again and again, also to Jeff Bezos, both as owner of Amazon as well as as owner of the WaPo, and probably several times more. Same with everyone who has given him money. He accepts the money, but he does not show gratitude. If anything, he doubles down and expects you, as you are already in giving mood, to give him more. And more. And more. It is never to your benefit.
And still they all keep on doing it. Pathetic. Emetic.
Billionaires are not half as clever as they think they are. Fuck them idiots.

Here’s another article, from Jan 19, 2026.

To Their Shock, Cubans in Florida Are Being Deported in Record Numbers

Cubans had long benefited from legal privileges unavailable to immigrants from other countries. President Trump has changed that.

Polls suggest that most Cuban American registered voters, who tend to be Republican, continue to support Mr. Trump, said Michael J. Bustamante, an associate history professor and director of Cuban studies at the University of Miami who studies Cuban American political culture. But he said that he had noticed “a growing amount of unease” throughout the community.

Well, with the Mellania movie, Bezos gets a tax write-off along with the bribe of stroking Trump’s … ego. The bribe isn’t to gain a favor, it’s to stave off retribution. Unfortunately, very much like all blackmails, you have to keep paying to keep him from screwing you over.

At this point they may not be bribes with expected quid pro quos, so much as they are peace offerings to hopefully keep trump from turning on them.

ETA: or, what that sneaky ninja @Dr.Winston_OBoogie said.

I think it’s the corporate version of the Democratic obsession with “norms” and pretending everything is Just Fine. Along with the common conviction of corporations and the wealthy that money is innately all-powerful. It’s not even just Trump; Elon Musk acts in a similar fashion, failing to meet his side of any supposed “deal”. People like Trump and Musk have figured out that if you are rich, you can just systematically cheat and backstab everyone else, over and over, and everyone including your victims will just pretend it isn’t happening.

A politician accepting a bribe and doing what they are bribed to do is the norm, so that’s what businesses do with Trump. Then when he fails to keep his side of the bargain they ignore it or try again, because anything else means admitting that the “norm” is just a fantasy, and that somebody with actual power can just take your money and ignore you.

Strange you mentioning Leon Musk while we are talking about the America-hating fuckstick makes me think of Judas in Jesus Christ Superstar:

Every time I look at you, I don’t understand
Why you let the things you did get so out of hand
You’d have managed better if you’d had it planned
Now why’d you choose such a backward time and such a strange land?

Interesting analysis, by the way. There might be something to what you write.

So the Melanoma movie bombs. The Trumps are humiliated. Orangeanusface blames Bezos. Hilarity ensues?

More likely: lawsuit ensues, with Trump claiming that Bezos and Amazon intentionally sabotaged Melania’s movie.

They cast someone incompetent in the role of “Melania” to intentionally tank the film. And who was that clown they got to play her husband? He might actually have a strong argument.
