I’ve long held the theory that Melania has been subtly (or not so subtly) trolling her husband and maybe Repubs in general since the start of trump 1.0. Case in point: a speech she gave publicly after trump won the first time that was liberally plagiarized from a Michelle Obama speech; her First Lady pet project during trump 1.0 was to form an anti cyber bullying campaign— hmm…who is the cyber bully in chief?; the infamous ‘I don’t really care, do U?’ jacket; probably a few others I’m forgetting; and now, the ^tan suit.

Must be that. Mick Jagger is a businessman and grabs every dollar he can get, but even he has his principles. And given that the Stones attacked more harmless (harmless only in a relative way) US administrations in 1990 (“Highwire”) and 2005 (“Sweet Neo Con”), I can’t imagine they have anything but contempt for the current administration.

Some local to me schadenfreude: Dr Oz is accusing Armenians of fraud. The Armenian community has tended to think of themselves as “model immigrants” and vote more republican than the typical SoCal resident. But of course the fascists in office only see “immigrant”.
There’s also the history of this being Adam Schiff’s former district. Schiff, as a good representative, was very good at constituent service, despite Armenians tending to be more conservative.

Great so that’s the new strategy? Find some large immigrant minority somewhere that had elected thorns in their side (Omar/Walz/Somalis; Schiff/Newsom/Armenians) , and broadly accuse their businesses of fraud?
