A Perfectly Reasonable Amount of Schadenfreude about Things Happening to Trump & His Enablers (Part 3)

Oh, how horrid. How utterly CIVIL. The shame. /s

They are still having trouble getting rid of the 8647 on the mall. Incompetence everywhere you look.

Do they know the whereabouts of Melania on June 10?

It’s going to take time for the grass to recover. Short of laying down sod, and you’d have to sod more than the 86-47, there’s not much to do but wait.

How was this beautiful piece of modern art created?

Initial news stories say “It’s not clear what caused the grass to brown”, haven’t seen an update.

Pictures show the numbers apparently made of adjacent circles of dead grass, suggesting that somebody just went along a pre-marked path spraying or dumping a dollop of weedkiller every foot or so.

Those semiquincentennial portraits of DJT’s mugshot are a big hit in China: (the word for 250 also means “fool” or “idiot” and other uncomplimentary adjectives)

It would be terrible if people did the same thing to his golf courses.

I’ll bet a drone could be programmed to apply herbicide very efficiently and surreptitiously,

I can confirm that drones are in fact being used to apply pesticides in agriculture here in Arkansas. And since we’re not usually on the leading edge of technological changes, that means they’re used in other areas. These drones aren’t programmed though, they’re controled by an operator. The drones are fairly large though, I’m not sure how easy it would be hit an open lawn in D.C. without being noticed, but then I’ve never been there at night.

One Italian newspaper isn’t pleased with Trump.

“Sorry to say it, but I can’t find, and perhaps there isn’t, another way to say it,” a translation of the Italian article from the Libero Quotidiano reads. “Donald Trump is an a—.”

The article uses the Italian term “coglione,” even using it in the headline, as it blasted Trump for ruining progress towards a friendly relationship with Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni by telling an Italian news network that she “begged” him for a photo during the G7 summit. Meloni denied the account and accused Trump of making it up in a fierce response that tore into him.

“Only an a— could ruin everything with a lie so huge as to become ridiculous,” the article read. “Why say such nonsense? The answer can only be found in the definition of the word ‘a—’ which has entered the popular jargon of the Italian language: an inept, stupid person who acts with little intelligence.”

Google translate tells me that ‘coglione’ means ‘asshole’. Can’t disagree.

So asshole fight between two right wing assholes about who’s the greater asshole…Those fascists, they’re funny (not).

“Testicle”, technically. So closer to “dickhead” than anything.

Thanks for the correction.

Both definitions are apt.

Some cheap table salt would do anytime. Cut a lower corner of a pound box of salt off, tie it to your leg and walk. Nobody will see it if you tape it under your trousers. You can use both legs for stronger lines. Preferably in short steps just before a light rain is announced.

There is a time-lapse video taken from the Washington Monument that shows dozens of people working on it. It’s too far away to see how they are doing it, though.

Billionaire data centers are working on this day and night. Facial recognition, biometrics, travel itineraries, social posts. They’ll get to the bottom of this as directed by Dear Leader. :grimacing:

Has no authority looked into alien intervention yet? Like crop circles?

I was going to say the same. Crop circle people would be who you want. And people good at geometry. People that are spatial and can make designs with simple tools.

Draftsmen, GIS folks. People that understand physical relationships between things. Throw in some artists.

Interesting that you don’t see the characters in the grass. I’m guessing that either it took time to kill off the grass or there was more work done later.
