Yeah, I despise Boebert but I don’t think it’s her responsibility to disprove these allegations, especially not by submitting her bare back for inspection concerning tattoos. Especially not for inspection by a political opponent, who I hope would find the idea as revolting as I do.
I have no way of knowing whether these allegations about Boebert are true. As with various similarly sordid allegations about sexual misbehavior by Donald Trump, all I know is that there is nothing in the uniformly loathsome character of the accused that would make the allegations in any way implausible. But the fact that they’re in no way implausible doesn’t prove that they’re true.
If they are true, that raises the question of Boebert’s husband’s involvement. In 2004, when Lauren Boebert (then Roberts) was 17, Jayson Boebert (aged 24) did jail time first for indecent exposure and then for domestic violence against Lauren. After the end of his probation in 2007 for the exposure conviction, the two were married.
So AFAICT, the Boeberts were dating or married during the entire time during which it’s alleged that Lauren had her abortion(s) and worked as an escort. Given that AFAICT she had her four sons in 2004, 2007, 2009, and 2013 or thereabouts, it sounds like a pretty busy life even without the alleged sex work and abortions. (Mind you, there are of course plenty of young wives and mothers who do sex work and get abortions with or without their husband’s knowledge.)
But either way, I personally don’t happen to care whether Boebert has had an escort career or an abortion. And even the hypocrisy implied by the abortion allegation can’t really do much to further degrade her deserved reputation as a lying grifting hypocritical lawless deranged piece of shit.
