I would expect you to refuse even if you hadnt already sunk money into your wedding. Some people derive a lot of enjoyment from t his board, and aren’t as hard up for money as you are. If you were arguing with someone and that person pulled out their wallet and threw a few bills at you to shut you up, wouldn’t you feel that that person was trying to weasle out of a fight? That they were insulting you? Liberal presents himself as being an arbitrater of morality and Christian philosophy. He often comes across as this deep and spiritual individual, both complex and wise (often exposed as intentional obtuseness). Buying off your opponent, even if he’s an annoying jerkface, does not reasonate with the image that Liberal likes to present.
