I was always interested about a piece of decorative ceramic, in my mother’s house (it belonged to my grandfather). On the base, it is signed with what looks like “Bray for Leagand Pottery” ©". This is inscribed-it is not a glazed-on mark. Wold this mean that it is an amateur piece? Large ceramic/pottery firms would use a glazed on trademark, would they not? In any event, has anyone ever heard of such a firm?
