Help me ID this pottery maker logo, please!

Hi, all. I picked up this awesome bowl at a garage sale, but I can’t find out a darn thing about it.

Here’s the maker’s mark: http://img845.imageshack.us/img845/3446/img0132cf.jpg

And here’s top of it: http://img204.imageshack.us/img204/3477/img0133gc.jpg

Anybody have ANY idea about a maker, or even what it says? I’m thinking it’s Chinese, but I don’t read/speak anything other than Hello and Thank You.

Thanks for any help.

I don’t know, but it’s a beautiful piece.

If you have a few hours to kill, here’s a link to pottery markings from all over the world.

It’s a very nice piece!

I thought it was really nice, too. Something about it. It’s not fancy, and was probably done in the 1990s or something, but it just struck me as a really cool looking dish. The pics don’t do it justice.

The nearest I could figure out it that the trident on top of the symbol is ZHI.

Speaking as an ignorant westerner, the symbol looks like it represents the Great Wall of China.

Ok, I found a plate just like it. It’s apparently Japanese, and the picture on the front is mini cherry blossoms. Still unsure about a maker, though.

Another similar plate.
