I am not the best when it comes to google-fu and I am having a very annoying problem with my Charge.
I have a notification on my screen that comes and goes and I can’t figure out what it is or how to stop it. It is in the far left corner of my screen and it looks like if you took a Pedestrian crossing sign and turned it on its side, and put a number 2 in it.
I have no other e-mail addresses sent to my phone, I have no voicemails, no unread texts and no app updates…what is this icon?? What does it mean?? How do I get rid of the damn thin?
That doesn’t sound like any of the default android notifications. I’ve had my charge for a few months now and what you are describing doesn’t sound like anything I have seen, have you loaded any apps that had a logo like that?
On my phone, if I put my finger on that top notification bar and pull down I get a list that gives me detail about each notification. Try that and see what happens.
ETA: The number two usually means that this particular incident has happened twice.
If you have more notifications than can fit on top of the notification bar, a little icon of that shape appears and tells you how many there are that aren’t showing. This picture shows that there are 3 more notifications not being shown. Is that it?
