A Question for Apple watch users

Everytime I put the phone on or off the charger I get this message on my watch, verbatim:

Shortcuts

When IPhone is
connected or dis-
connected from
power
Open App, Choose
from Menu, One,
Two,End Menu,
Choose from Menu,
One, and Two

Under this are Run and Dismiss buttons.

It’s a puzzle to me what this is. I tried running it and it does nothing. I really don’t need any shortcuts. Anybody else get this?

My series 3 watch has never done this. What series is your watch?

Ive got an Apple Watch 7 and I’ve never seen that.

It’s a series 4. I honestly don’t know what it means. It’s more annoying than anything else.

Could it be a message from something you’ve installed on your watch? It reads like it’s saying to open “the App,” so maybe it means a particular App that wants some permissions or something.

Did you at one time start to create a shorctut and didn’t finish?

That has to be it. Deleting the shortcut will get rid of the message.

I found a button in the watch app on the phone called Background App Refresh and turned off Shortcuts. I don’t know if that was the correct move, but the notice is staying away (for now). Thanks, guys, for the suggestions.
