Yes.
Heh. Just kidding. Doomsday was a genetic experiment performed by an alien scientist on Krypton millions of years ago. Back then, the planet had a very harsh environment, and was populated by evil, nasty, Alien-type creatures (As in the movie Alien). This scientist cloned a creature with regenetive DNA, and released the baby into the environment.
The baby suffocated.
He collected the tissue sample from the corpse, recloned it, and placed the baby outside again.
The baby suffocated again, but lasted a little bit longer this time.
Time and time again, the baby was released into the environment, and it evolved until it could survive outside the lab easily, and eventually, it learned to kill the native preditors.
The little bastard eventually made the evil, nasty, Alien-type creatures extinct. It broke into the supposidly indestructable lab, and killed everyone in the lab (He remembered his “father” killing him over and over).
An alien explorer discovered Doomday, and it hitched a ride (I think it killed everyone on board. Not sure). THe rest is history. Doomsday can evolve a defense against any attact, including Darksiedes Omega Effect (Note: The Omega Effect was the ultimate attack, which no one could withstand).
Doomsday was thought to have been destroyed by being sent forward in time until entropy destroyed everything. Braniac, however, teleported it back to the present, and transfered his mind into the creature (Picture a smart, litereate, telepathic Doomsday).
Supes fough and eventually defeated Brainiac/Doomsday, driving Brainiac’s spirit out. Doomsday is currently on the moon, being constantly teleported between four JLA transporters, so that only 25% of its body is in any given teleporter at a time. Of course, this prison will keep Doomsday inprisoned forever…
You know what’s sad? I’ve forgotten over half of what I used to know about Trig, Calculus, and biology.
