Hm? Which movies feature Evil Vatican Organizations? Stigmata featured a shady but ambiguous Vatican organization… though they weren’t instigating evil. End of Days… they fought evil, right? And I know Hudson Hawk’s ‘damn mysterious’ Vatican Organization fought for good.
I haven’t seen STIGMATA yet so I thought the Vatican was more sinister in that from reports I’d heard. Also, a film called THE BODY with Antonio Banderas as a priest/archaeologist investigating the purported body of JC implicated the Vatican in killing several people to cover it up. Most of all tho, what stuck in my mind wasn’t a movie but the book THE DA VINCI CODE which I am trying to start now.
