I think I am mostly ok with people being wrong, as long as they are not going around steadfastly trying to infect others with the errors of their ways. In this respect, the wrongness of Sam Stone turns out to be of the worst kind.

I don’t really care if someone is “wrong on the internet”. There are times when I feel it is necessary to correct them, for the sake of passerby’s if not for their own.
But Sam is not being wrong on the internet, he is claiming that others are, while peddling lies and misconstructions. He actively feeds into ignorance and misinformation.
Personally, I don’t like to be wrong and spend a substantial amount of time looking for ways of improving my knowledge of the world, unlike Sam who spends even more time looking to justify his misrepresentation of it.
