A song or tune to have people hear whenever they looked at your profile.

Suppose there was a board feature that allowed you to set a song or tune or melody so that whenever someone clicked on your profile, they’d hear it playing all during that time. What would yours be?

Mine would either be the Super Mario Brothers theme or the music from the original Legend of Zelda.

I wouldn’t. I have a pet peeve about personal websites and profiles that assault you with favorite songs. My first move is to the “pause” button.

I’d prefer that the song just run one time through. Then again, a post would have to be pretty long for a reading to outlast a complete rendition of We Didn’t Start the Fire (I’m a fan of both Billy Joel and history) or The Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald (which would only be played around the anniversary of the ship’s November sinking).

Every fucking MySpace page plays a song (or two). Drives my up the wall. I’m already listening to music I picked out; don’t force yours on me. I’m so conditioned that when going to a MySpace page, the first thing I do is look for the “pause” button without waiting to hear music.

If you’re logged in, you can disable it from automatically playing. Go to account settings - music settings.

I’m not the OP, but I’m guessing this more of a “what’s your theme song” type of thing, rather than an actual wish for embeded sound files at the SDMB. Because if that were to happen, well, let’s just say it wouldn’t be pretty.
