What is your theme song?

You know, the one the soundtrack plays when you walk into the scene. What song sets the emotional tone? What about your favorite Doper’s theme Song?

“Master Ninja Theme Song”

Mine’s “Hold on Loosely” by 38 Special. Or the Pink Panther theme.

Steely Dan - “Deacon Blues.”

Indiana Jones Theme Song. It works for me on many levels.

Maybe “I Walk on Gilded Splinters,” by Dr. John. Or “Whatever It Is, I’m Against It,” from the Marx Brothers film Horse Feathers (by Kalmar and Ruby).

I don’t know music from the right time period to pick something for my favorite Doper. A suitably dignified piece by Scott Joplin, maybe.

Mine is “Dare” by Gorillaz.

John Barry’s Theme to The Last Valley.

Dave Brubeck’s “Take Five.”

Tomoyasu Hotei’s Katana Groove. It’s similar to his Battle Without Honor or Humanity used in Kill Bill, but more low-key. Good walking music.

I’m sure a lot of guys would choose this, but I think “My Way”, by Sinatra, pretty much fits my attitude toward life.

The theme from Friends:

So no one told you life was gonna be this way-
Your job’s a joke , you’re broke,
Your love life’s DOA.
Only… that’s where my theme song ends, because I really don’t have anyone to tell me they’ll be there for me. :frowning:

“60,000 Miles Beneath My Brain” by Ten Years After

Five for Fighting’s “100 years”
and
Rob Thomas’ “Unwell”

The Theme to “The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly.”

Wully Bully.

Just My Imagination, by the Temptations.

‘Creep’ by Radiohead

Into the Mystic - Van Morrison

Mine used to be “These boots are made for walking” but since me and my boots finally did just that its now…“Born Free”
