When my mother died three years ago I started a separate LJ from my regular account to post in the months after her death. I posted in it for about a year, and then left it alone.
In December I decided to look up those posts again and add them to my regular LJ. Try as I might, I could. not. remember the sign on I had used. I couldn’t find the account anymore!
Just now I went to check my e-mail and saw someone had posted to that account…it was a spammer, but I am now able to find my old account and download the entries!
Probably the first time ever a spammer was helpful.
