I know it’s not doing so well but they might decide to just do a fillum instead, that’s a whole different thing.

I’m disappointed in Enterprise. Not because it’s bad. I actually like it. I am disappointed because the idea had/has huge potential, and it’s not been realized.
An enterprise movie (or several) would be swell.
An Enterprise movie would be a terrible idea. Just give them four more seasons and hope they continue the latest upward trend.

It shows the NX-01 on the site but does that mean it’s an Enterprise announcement?
I’m personally hoping it will be something like a DS9 miniseries. That would rock but I doubt it will happen. More pragmatically, I expect it to be an announcement that DS9 will begin airing on Spike, which is supposed to happen sometime in the next two weeks.
I’m told that the site plays April Fool’s jokes. It’ll probably turn out to be Porthos’ head on a Ferengi’s body or something.
Is Thursday April 1st? I’ve lost track of time running temporal errands for you humans, you know.

Not necessarily. When Voyager was the only Trek show on, they used a pic of it to announce current news.
However, when TNG & DS9 and DS9 & Voyager were running concurrently, the picture of the ship did indicate whcih show the story was about.
In that case, it’ll probably turn out to be something like this:
“Enterprise has been renewed for a fourth season.
.
.
.
April fool! The show’s actually been cancelled. Ha ha!”

Monday, April 5th, specifically. From noon that day through Friday the 9th. I’m busy rearranging the TiVo to get as much of it as I can. Cannot wait – DS9 is my favorite.

I don’t know if I am allowed to link to other boards, so I won’t. But DVD talk has some rumors about a Feature film “trek prequel” trilogy. They say neither Berman or Braga will be involved, but the producers of “Snow Dogs” will.

While we’re here, can somebody explain why Starfleet’s ships were all called the USS whatever?
Was Gene Roddenberry trying to tell us that yes, the Americans win, or was USS just supposed to sound shippy?
United Space Ship Enterprise in the original, modern Trek incarnations* usually refer to it as Federation Starship Enterprise, maybe it should be FSS.
*although in the TOS episode The Tholian Web there is the line, “Spock, in command of the Federation Starship Enterprise”.
It currently stands for United Starship.
Also of possible interest, the NCC doesn’t stand for anything but the fan workout is Naval Construct Code.
I think it will be an announcement about how the site will be going to paid subscriptions.
