snowbunny, don’t know if you’re reading along, but are you OK? Thought of you when they reported on the fires in Idaho.
I’ve been to the grocery store, stopped by a couple of the tables at the monthly art/music thing they have in my neighborhood, and came home with ingredients for something between moussaka and pastitsio. Will post recipe if it turns out.
I’ve also been knitting and watching Jonny Quest thanks to a thread in CS.
Now I’m going back out to get something from the cupcake truck and to wander around some more.

I’m done with chores for the day. I’m going to knit and watch TV. Half the weekend gone… <sigh>
They arrested the guy. His truck’s still parked outside my house, where I guess it will stay until whenever. I’m feeling better, not quite so creeped out. It’s very quiet here. My landlord’s other tenant was pretty freaked out this morning and is staying elsewhere for now. Honestly, I’ve been thinking of moving, and this is making me look harder.
Anyway, thanks for cyber hugs, they’re much appreciated.

I have done tons of chores today - house is scrubbed from top to bottom including floors mopped, showers scrubbed, sink bleached and clean, fans dusted and many more things. And now I am tired.
Supper tonight is butternut squish, corn and grilled chicken. I am also packed for my trip to Tulsa tomorrow!

Seems like moving might be a good idea, Shadow, especially if you’d already been thinking about it.
I’ve been pretty much of a slug tonight; just really needed an evening with not much to do. Just finished my next scarf - really pretty pattern, I think - and am going to make some handwarmers and a headband to go with it.

Day got somewhat better. The Hateful Little Troll went home at 8 tonight because we were so slow so me and Detailed AGM got to hang out without her. Now I’m chillin’ with a Duck Rabbit Milk Stout. Best thing to ever come out of Farmville, East Kakalak.

Dissertation has been upload, to be downloaded by the friend handing it in for me. No more bibliographies until and unless I get a grade of “rewrite”!

Another cool, restful night with the windows open. Unfortunately, I think it’ll be the last for a little while. But summer is winding down - I can tell by the temps on the long-range forecast.
Apart from tending to the critters this morning, I watered all my houseplants - they were thirsty. Daughter and her evil dog spent the night with friends, so she won’t be home till later. I’ve got 3 loads of laundry to do, but other than that, my day is pretty much free. Not enough wind to sail, so we won’t do that.
I supposed I should find me some caffeine.

Not sure what the breakfast plan is today, possible the same as yesterday because we finally finished off the ‘cheap’ sausage yesterday and have the good Bob Evans stuff again.

Shadow, moving sounds like a really good idea just now, that’s for sure.
Another semi-idle Sunday over here today. I got up late, had a bath and washed my hair, watched a couple of episodes of True Blood while I watched the rain coming down outside. When it finally cleared up a bit, I went out and weeded the front border ‘cos it was getting really over grown. Now I’m cooking a very late lunch. Afterwards, we need to go over to our friends’ house and feed their animals (one cat, four ferrets) as they’re away for the weekend and won’t be back until tomorrow or Tuesday. It’s a holiday weekend here so we get a bonus Monday off, just as well because I could do with it.
I finally found out that I’m moving on 28th September at work, and I’ll be in the main medical school office. Not quite sure how I feel about that, the friends who moved up there recently got put into the side offices which are much nicer and I’d hoped to be sharing with one of them, but it appears not to be so. However, it will help me learn more about what the other person who looks after the bulk of the Year 3 stuff does, and I might pick up some extra interesting work out of it but I am still a bit ‘meh’ about the location.
Oh well, time enough to worry about that later, right?

Today is my hubby’s birthday, so I’m unsure what we have on tap today.
We had a wonderful time last night celebrating our friend’s birthday. She loved all of her gifts. We had a great food, great laughs, and great drinks. We played 99 and danced and didn’t get home until after 1:00 am.

I’ve got some chores to do around here. My husband’s nephew and the nephew’s girlfriend may stop by here this afternoon, so I need to finish tidying the kitchen and wash the floor. I also have laundry to do, otherwise I won’t really have anything to wear to work!
Things got better then they got worse again.
I’m just going to give up on today right now and save time later.
