A Story Start for Your Judgement - The Horror at Cecil Cove (with FAQ)

Great stuff, can’t wait for more.

And if you need a mysterious feline to show up now and again, well you know where I am.

Una!

Wow, that was fabulous. It would be a cruel punishment to not write more. Please, please, please finish the story

I, too, would like more.

(In case you haven’t visited the homepage, Anthracite, you’ve been Threadspotted.)

Well there is already a follow-up here. Enjoy, unfortunately she seems to have something else to occupy her mind well travelling in Europe these days (hope you are both having fun). I can however highly recommend writing as a solace when you are feeling alone (hint, hint, hint)

Thanks for sharing
Britt

Bravo! Please,please,please write more!

By the way,I’m available as an (expendable)extra.

jab1 - thanks for the heads up & Britt - thanks for the update - I can’t think what (or whom ;)) you mean!

More seriously, I passed on the news about this thread and as much of the comments as I could remember to Una in Poland since she hasn’t been on the board this week & probably won’t be back online till Sunday at least, due to hotel phone/data connections & flying back to the States, & she asked me to post for her to say thank you for all the comments and explain her lack of response.

She is writing number three…and has been for a long time. It is going to be even longer than part 2 so that should make up for the wait. She’s also been very busy with work & travelling and other stuff, so it isn’t all my fault.

For the record: The trip Una mentioned being nervous about culminated in a trip to London where she met Fierra…they didn’t know it but that meeting started the path towards the love they share to this day…here’s to Una and Fierra…may your love grow stronger every day.

Keith

Quite an impressive story there.

I wont object if you want to use my name, after all, you cant really write about Atlantis without talking about Fnord, Maybe I could be an evil presence that people see, but dont see.

However did I miss this the first time around?

It’s very good. My man is slightly obsessed with Atlantis, so I’ll show it to him, too.

On to the next segment!

You’re welcome. But “Threadspotting” fame is fleeting; there’s already another thread in place of this one, about “Halvsie,” the two-legged dog.

Looking forward to it.

Thank you, new readers, for your kind posts. As my beloved fierra posted, I am working on Part 3 - in fact, I ended up writing 6 more 10-point font pages today on the loooooong flight back from London to KC. Part 3 will be much longer than 1 or 2, and sets many interesting parts of the plot up. There are also some main characters who die - try to guess which ones!

I will have much more time starting in a week, and hope that Part 3 will be good enough and long enough to satisfy most readers.

And yes, the big trip was the one that allowed me to meet my most wonderful fierra, who I love so much. And even more, now that I have just parted from her again. Sigh.

Part 4 should be the climax, and will likely be longer than 3, unless I take a little more time and make the two equal length. As it stands, Part 3 would likely carry onto two pages in the thread in order to be completely posted. Oh well - sometimes it’s nice to read a story, instead of a 5-page roasting of a suspected homophobe in the Pit, eh?
