A Straight Dope Help Fund or Thread for Members Who Are Victims of Harvey or Irma?

I thought I would throw out the possibility of a Straight Dope Help Fund for Straight Dope members who are victims of Harvey or Irma.

There is also the possibility of goods instead of cash. For example I am sure some Dopers have an extra computer they are not using.

Or perhaps a stickied thread where members could post their requests and GoFundme addresses or offers of stuff.

Any thoughts?

Just remember GoFundMe takes 7.9 percent of the gross raised, and a wee bit more.
