A few days ago, I met with a family friend (Thomas) who gave me a lead for a job interview. He told me to call him immediately afterwards, to tell him what happened. He gave me his phone number, which I immediately entered into my cell phone.
Yesterday, I got a phone call from the interviewer-he apologized and wanted to reschedule the interview. I did so…and called Thomas…however, the number I called was actually that of my brother Thomas (in Florida).
I cannot understand how I did this-I recall eentering my friends number as we spoke.
Strange.
Are there two numbers now listed under “Thomas” (cell and home, for example)?
Ask a neurologist to check you for prosopagnosia.
:dubious:I hardly think one incident that may have been caused by fatigue or distraction or software error on the phone or a million other things qualifies as anything but a brain fart, certainly not worth wasting thousands seeing a neurologist.
We really need a sarcasm smiley.
We need a Ralph124C smiley more than that…
