It’s a molehill that was mountainized in the presentation. She writes something online that could be read as shady (we’ve all done it), it happens to come to the attention of someone who is paid to look into shady things in case they materialize, they come to see you and realize you’re not a dangerous nut, life goes on.
The blood in the water was the continued seesawing about what exactly was written.
I have to say, even if I don’t remember much now, if a bunch of dudes in suits appeared tomorrow to interview me on Wednesday about something I wrote three months ago, I would sure as shit remember it on Thursday.

That’s the pronunciation I’ve always used. And I have heard it used and used it too, mostly due to the evils of internet voice chat, but occasionally in real life as well.
