Well… I don’t know about all that.
Picture me on my 16th birthday, a kid living alone and partying hard, drinking tequila shots and sunrises. I am a huge fan of tequila mostly because, no matter how much I’ve ever drank, it has never made me sick. We left my house (Designated Drivers are a GOOD THING, Lucki, in case you haven’t heard) and wound up at some other friend’s house. I felt fine, never better, until I drank some beer. I couldn’t even get two bottles down and the 4 mile drive back to my house was hell. Finally, three days later, I could move without getting sick.
Here’s an even better Rule Of Thumb (although I got a nickel that says it falls on deaf ears…) - Drinking is bad, mm’kay? Moderation is okay (a beer after work, wine with dinner, things like that) but you’re still a kid. I think you should just enjoy that for a while.
[really cheesy but sadly true]You can drink for the rest of your life, but this is the only chance you get to be a kid. [/rcbst]
God, I’m such a hypocrite. A non-drinking hypocrite, but a hypocrite just the same…
