RICHLAND, Wash. (AP) - A woman apparently dissatisfied with a haircut robbed a hair salon at gunpoint, shot at her stylist’s car, then used part of the money to pay for a trim at another shop, police said. Julie A. Anderson, 48, was booked for investigation of first-degree robbery and second-degree malicious mischief. She was arrested about 45 minutes later as she left another hair salon nearby.

I’ve had some bad haircuts, but I never considered doing more than leaving a skimpy tip. Then again, it’s just hair.

And that photo reminds me of when the Polish ladies in my grandmother’s neighborhood used to get all gussied up. One of my sisters did that once, too. She’s a bit of an anachronism. And a bit odd…

Oh man, I nearly fell off my chair. My aunt lives in Richland, Washington and her name is Judy Anderson! But I know its not her because she’s in her 60’s (although she does lie about her age). Maybe I’d better call her.
