A Very Grumpy MMP

But your income tax position is very, very good.

I just checked out the invoice for the grocery delivery. I ordered frozen yogurt, but it was out of stock and they didn’t substitute anything. No froyo for Rockin’. :frowning:

Hooray for Nuts!

I had to rescue my roommates from the Home Despot. The second of Irish Storyteller’s cars broke down today, right after they left the mechanic. :smack: The first one, the backup Honda POS, broke down at his irk two days ago and still needs to be retrieved.

FYI: Guinness chips (or “crisps” since it’s made in the UK) are very good.

Well, no, because I get paid lots and lots to draw pictures with a computer. OK, not lots and lots, but enough. Some. Unlike a certain Presidential candidate, I pay a relatively large percentage of income tax. I’m pretty sure the $8.55 won’t push me into a higher bracket. At least I hope not!

Back from OG - I do like their chicken and gnocchi soup - I had 2 bowls of it! Yum.

Tomorrow, we’re driving to NJ to look at a car that **FCD **really, really wants. Advice to single women - don’t marry a car guy - they’ll make you crazy!! :stuck_out_tongue: Anyway, we’ll be leaving way early. I may or may not be driving home alone. We shall see…

The wheel of my 914 came off when I drove away from the body shop.

Howdy Y’all! Dindin got ingested and then I went over to the church house to prep stuff for tomorrow. Chikin (laigs and wings) and brats (the sausage kind) got parboiled. German N.O.T. sallit and red cabbage and apples got made. Apple crisps got baked. Stuff that will be made tomorrow got prepped. Oh and since we have chikin broth, we’re addin’ noodles to the menu, cause, hey chikin broth. I learnt all about the makin’ of German N.O.T. sallit. ‘Tis a multi step process but smelled and tasted soooooooooooooooo good! It’s supposed to be served warmed and I’m told it can be warmed up tomorrow. I leave that to the expert who apparently knows what she’s doin’. Tomorrow mornin’ I shall go over and put grill seasonin’ on the chikin cause I want to do that when it’s cold, then go over in the afternoon to grill chikin and brats (the sausage kind). It won’t take a real long time to do that so that’s good.

Now I’s tahrd. Ima go snoop teh intartoobz for a little bit and then 'tis beddy bye time.

Nitey Nite Y’all!

WTG nuts!

Sorry, rosie, if I adopted you, you’d have to go west.

Groceries are bought and supper from the Thai place is yummy (pho with pork and quail eggs and a lovely spring roll). My former coworker threw in a couple of potstickers for good measure.

I’m not ready for that much of an upheaval, red. Thanks, anyway

C’mon - you don’t expect a top body and fender man to lower himself to tightening lug-nuts do you? Silly boy! :stuck_out_tongue:

Well, there you go.
G-d hates me.
I have no idea what I did to piss Her off.

I had an RX-7 for a time. I feel your pain.

It needed the constant attention of expensive Teutonic mechanics.

Go on ya, Peaches, and the rest of your family/group. People doing nice things are something I always like to hear about.

Red, I have adopted swampy’s ability to perform nappage during the afternoon, got an hour or so in after the launch hour today.

Nut, glad the new job is working out so well.

Soccer game refereed with no issue (girls can play just as physical as boys, however) and treated myself to a couple of ham-n-cheese sammiches with pomme frites and sweet tea at a local family restaurant. Now planning for bed as I ref two games starting at 0830 tomorrow and then coach the kids at 1:00PM.

:(We don’t have an Olive Garden here.:frowning:

So much good news in the last day; peaches and others helping out, read that they extended voter registration due to the storm in one GA county where I think you are, **MetalMouse ** giving back to the youth in his retirement, Nuts with a new job. And the not so good.

Borrowing **Rosie’s sig **.

And TGIF!!!1!!!

My phone popped up with an ‘alert’ that we’re going to have a frost advisory overnight, until 9am.

So of course, I’m going out early tomorrow; I just got home & need to be up about dark:30 to leave by 6am…to be outside. Gonna be cold gettin’ into the showr as the heater is not heating; prehaps because the switch is set to <Off> still. Next week they’re talking 80° again, so I may just be able to hold out 'til Nov for heating season again this year.

I think I might be able to take off tomorrow.

Yay for a day off **Dogiooo. **

This is going to be a long-ass day. I woke at 1:30 with a bit of tummy distress. Then again at 2:30, and again around 4 - without significant sleepage in between those times. Round about 4:30, Higgs started barking. Then I heard hissing in the hall - I’m pretty sure Ziva and Taz were having a disagreement. Around 5:30, after yet another trip to the bathroom, I got up to let Higgs out and feed her. So I’m up. Dammit. And facing this gawd-awful 3-hour drive into NJ to look at a car that I don’t want to buy.

Yeah, I didn’t want to do anything productive today. I’m thrilled at the prospect of spending 6+ hours on the road plus whatever time we’re at the dealership. It’s not like I’ve got a bunch of things to do before we go away next weekend… Especially when operating on less than 4 hours of sleep yet again.

Happy Saturday. Now leave me alone. :stuck_out_tongue:

This stress is messing me up big time. I’m tired all day, but I can’t sleep. I have a couple of two hour naps during the night, interrupted by calls from Nature, after which it takes as much as half an hour for me to get comfortable in bed, so I’m tired all day. Major Blurfage :frowning:

Happy Saturday!

It’s a dark 42 degrees outside, supposed to get up to 68. Then as Spidey says, back up into the 80s next week. A few warmer days will be nice.

Today’s agenda is taking Sah-son to the college for his English exam and planting the rest of the plants now that I know where I want to put them.
Lunch/dinner will probably be something out. He’ll want TacoHell, I’ll want something else.
