If the election (re-election, same candidates) were hold today (tomorrow), whom would you vote for:
G. W. Bush ®
A. Gore (D)
R. Nader (G)

By definition, only educated people using the Internet are eligible.

A. Gore.
Though I was briefly tempted to say Bush, because I am so sick of the petty bickering, I still don’t think I’d be able to bring myself to actually vote for him.
I voted for Gore.
I’d probably vote for him again.
They both suck.
Since the election-in-which-my-vote-did-not-count (I do not live in Florida, so us other 49 states don’t matter, huh?), I have seen so much petty crap going on. The only deciding factor for me is that Gore at least appears presidential. Bush appears to be very un-presidential. Pretty bad when that’s the deciding factor.
Oh, and media people? Do us a favor and shut the hell up already. I’m tired of constant break-ins to regular TV to announce absolutely nothing of consequence. Keep quiet until we have actually determined a winner. That’s when I may be interested.
My father and mother voted for Bush. Since we live in Florida, only our votes count so far. That makes it 2-0 Bush.
Under the circumstances, I’d still vote for Gore. In fact, I wouldn’t even consider going for Nader, which I WAS pre-election.
Other.
My mother, if you must know. I don’t like the idea of having any of those guys as president.
I still would not vote. I live in South Dakota, which was easily carried by Bush. Plus, I am really lazy.
Bush. If anything, with all the shit that’s going on, I like Gore even less than I did originally.
Gore. I only wish my absentee ballot could have been counted in Florida.
and since this is a scientific poll, I’ll only vote once.
This time, I’d write in for Jesse Ventura!!!
I voted for Gore last time.
Neroman, that poll was 2-9 days after the election. The results here (and there) are not numerous enough to allow for scientific comparison, but it looks than fewer percentage now would go for Algore/Lieb. Whether it is because Algore keeps pissing people off by unleashing layers to decide the election or becase his followers are more active than GWB/Dick’s ones, I do not know. Personally, I’d always vote for Bush/Dick (bush/dick) combo, more so that I think that both do not appear presidential (sorry, Wolf). To me, Algore looks what he is - another corporate lawyer, and GWB - like a successfull businessman.
Besides, I think GBW will encounter less hostile Congress, Algore won’t be able to push through none of his great projects.
I voted bush before, and it appears I’d vote bush again.
I voted Nader the first time around, but if there was a nation-wide revote, having already made my little political statement, I’d vote Gore.
Harry Browne - same as before.
Nader, but not because I want him to win, just to give other third parties hope.
Keep voting, guys. If Algore looses, he will contest the result, as usual.
Final toll: Bush 6, Gore 6, Nader 1, other 3.
Have we learned anything? Only that the logic is powerless facing faith.
I believe you need to recount these totals. I don’t think you counted the posters who wrote their choice in the post subject box. Plus there were some chads hanging of the posts that may have screwed up the tabulation…
