My Crimmus shoppin’ consists of gift cards to favorite restaurants and stores. I did put thought into this. After all, I had to find out the favorite restaurants and stores. 
Staples had every giftcard I needed, so it was one stop shoppin’ even.
Ok, that’s all I got. I need more caffiene and to feed rumbly tummy. Then, alas and alack, irk purtification must commence.

Forever and ever, I’ve been telling my spousal unit he needs to occasionally reboot his laptop. He just leaves it on constantly. Last night he was complaining about all the popups he keeps getting that he can’t get rid of. He ran MalWareBytes and SpyBot, then it was bedtime. I’m going to check it again this morning, and install AdBlock and hope that’ll take care of the crap. Meanwhile, I’m downloading updates and scanning the other laptop, since he does the same thing with that.
I swear, for someone so smart, he can be so dumb!!! At least there’s nothing on his laptop that can be considered critical - worst he’ll lose is all his bookmarks.
We’ve got a 70% chance of rain, mostly this afternoon. I’m still not planning to go out, altho I might have to go get milk because when I was out yesterday, I didn’t know we were almost out of milk. But we might survive anyway.
**FCD **left for work early since he got up early, which means he should get home early. I think he’s really enjoying his job. Apart from having to get up early and go… but he’ll adjust to that.
I think my big plan for the day is to do something about the oven. It’s pretty gross. I’ll see if I can de-grossify it without resorting to the self-clean cycle. I want to bake some cookies for **FCD **to take to work, but not till the oven is less disgusting. Other than that, nothing on the agenda yet.
**swampy **- we sent 3 restaurant gift cards to the Ocala in-laws. They don’t need any more stuff and they do enjoy eating out, so this works well. My mom is even easier - she likes wines, so I go to local vineyards and get her a few bottles that she doesn’t see up her way. So it works well.

It’s not cold enough to snow but it looks like snow.
Today I have to finish signing up for health insurance. The deadline is Thorsday.
I do not remember answering all these questions last year. I don’t even know how to to answer some of the questions.
I did start a thread BTW. The leader so far is the Now Explosion. I am going to have to try and find a clip somewhere to see if that jogs my one remaining grey cell.
Bandstand was really -------- super white bread? Not worthy of us hippies. They had a jacket and tie dresscode that never would have flown with my circle of friends. My brother; yes. But I was more cool than that.

Consuming too much caffeine and chocolate today, though there’s a reason for it.
I got kind of worried yesterday. I was eating some cookies my sister and dad had bought for me, when I noticed that instead of their usual pale yellow colour, they were all greenish. I was alarmed, until my sister said to me that they were dyed green for Christmas. Whew! They tasted good anyway.

Howdy from irk! N.O.L. has been ingested. I had the rest of the beef veggie soup that was in da fridge. Other than that it’s just the usual people bein’ weird. All in all a pretty normal day.
Ima stop by the sto’ and get a rotissed chikin for dindin. I’ll figure out some kind of vegetative matter to go with when I get to da cave. Maybe succotash and one of those rice in a box thingies.

It’s been raining here for a while, but it’s very bright to the west. According to the weather radar, all this crap is moving east and it should clear for the evening. I guess it’s moving faster than they thought.
Decision time - to read or to snooze??

It’s a small world. Two of my sisters graduated from Goshen College and when I lived in Nappanee, I attended mass at St. John’s most of the time. Do you pick up chocolate from Olympia when you go back for a visit? 
Not chocolate. Usually I have their pork and olive sammich, a bowl of fries, and a fountain root beer.
My sister is the current IT goddess at St. John’s School, and has been there at least 10 years.
I did 2 trimesters at the University of Southern Goshen in between the time I got kicked out of Purdue and going to Tri-State. GC also invited me to leave because I refused to go to Chapel, AND had the gall to also publicly challenged their pacifistic doctrine. Yeah I was a wild-eyed conservative gadfly even in my youth. What made it even worse was my grandfather was well loved as the school electrician, but had passed on by the time I went.
I am now in possession of a tablet for irk. I had been told by TPTB this was comin’, but not until after the first of next year. It showed up today via USPS. It’s cute. I have no idea what to do with it yet, but I reckon I shall learn. I booted it up and it didn’t explode so I take that as a good sign. On the plus side, when I get use to it, it’ll be a whole lot easier to drag around than a laptop. This post is bein’ made on it as a test. Go Me!
I got sleepy and took a nap.
So I still have to do laundry, rearrange furniture and get something to eat.
I’ve been up since 7:30 and all I’ve had to eat is some crackers, no wonder my belly hurts all the time.
I did put Sah-sons pizza stone in the oven to back. He pulled it out the other evening to use and found out you have to bake it for an hour before using it the first time.
