Gotta get me one of them check signing machines. How much fun I could have Just pulling the handle and signing my name over and over and over on a piece of paper!

Know I must have had some, sperfur, but I can’t recall them :frowning:

Luck would have it, neither can I. Oh well, I’m sure they were good.

Mmmm…for lunch I am having a ‘chief’ salad. I’m not sure if the guy in the cafeteria can’t spell, or if he’s just a Kansas City football fan.

Not like our watcher, who not only fixes whatever you want to eat but spells it correctly to boot!

Oh my lunch was good…fish, turnip greens, mac & cheese and corn bread.

Pretty good Lenten repast I thought.

Quakers don’t do Lent, so I had what I have every day – a peanut butter sandwich.

Rather certain that the salad was misspelled (in my humble professional opinion). Thanks so much hon for the kind words - you’re right I would never do such a thing. If I were making an Eagles salad (whatever that is), it would never be confused with a chef salad.

Small world - me too!

Too cool, Twicks, I guess it’s not for nothing that Philly is known as the Quaker city.

Undoubtedly just more proof (were any needed) that we are meant for each other, watcher dear!

****Very fetchingly flutters her un-mascared (and thus quakerly) eyelashes

Well I’d say that based on recent postings, I’d say it’s clear that this thread has much yet to offer. Maybe the first 100 pages were just preamble…

I’ve always preferred the natural look sweets, no need for makeup or nail polish with this Quake.

Xrated postings to ensue perhaps?

You don’t know many Quakers, swampbear – this is about as torrid as things get on a public message board.

(Zounds – behind closed doors, though – Rowwwwrrr!)

Around not many Quakers have I been [sub]cept for the one on the oatmeal box**.

Bet Quakers code better. :smack:

Coding is my life, swampy. [sub]and a sad commentary on my life that is.[/sub]

Does it get any better than this? This almost never happens - I went out to pick up a sandwich around noontime today to bring back to the office for lunch (even the chef-meister of the universe has to go for takeout sometimes), and while out, I took a quick spin into Tower Records and filled out a little slip for a drawing, and amazingly I just got an email saying that I’ve won tickets for a concert by the Chieftains and Allison Moorer. With St. Patrick’s Day impending, the timing couldn’t be better. I do enjoy the Chieftains music, plus I’ve always kind of liked Allison Moorer better than her more well known sister (Shelby Lynne).

Not to mention the nice flirtations now coming my way - girl I like the way you think.

Egad, I had a SDMB nightmare last night. I can just see my sleeping self right now. "No! No! I didn’t kill the thread that wouldn’t die. It wasn’t me! It wasn’t me! I thought people liked pistachios! Noooooo!

Excellent news, Watcher! Where’s the concert – the TLA? Tower Theater? (Should we make some joke here about the luck of the Irish?)
