Quit posting so often so I can make my way in here!

Roar! This threads gotten long…

Regrets? Some, like typing “my” instead of “me”.

Sorry mate!

Too bad I’m no where near Australia…

Right this way, little lighthouse. Would you like an appetizer or a glass of wine before the soup?

Then, to top it off, I bold a whole word, instead of the first letter. I will be booted out of the club for sure, now.

Ta-da! the second-most egregious poster of this thread is back!

**U[/]h-oh, I’m lagging behind again. :frowning:

Vexed I am, to have screwed up that coding. :frowning: :frowning:

Very big welcome, little lighthouse!

Well, I went and did it, but first
X-ray my meaning in the next two lines.
You must read the next line carefully
Zero views of the box below for those who don’t want all Lord of the Rings things spoilers.

A Hobbit named Frodo had this ring.
Because it was dangerous he decided to take it to the Elves.
Certain he would need help, Gandalf sent Sam with him.
Despite many dangers he made it with the help of Aragorn, Merry and Pippin.
Elrond convened a council to decide what to do with the ring.
Frodo decided to detroy the ring himself.
Gandalf felt great sadness for the burden his friend had taken.
However a deed needed to be done so nine companions left on a mission.
Into Moria they went despite the reservations of Gandalf.
Just when they were nearing the end of the mindes they were attacked by Orcs and a Balrog.
Keeping their mission in mind they pressed on despite the fall of Gandalf.
Lending her aid Galadriel gave them great gifts and helped them advance.
Merry and Pippin were captured, Boromir killed and Sam and Frodo ran off soon afterwards however.
Not willing to let their friends be tortured Aragorn, Gimli and Legolas went after Merry and Pippin.
On into the swamps went Sam and Frodo with the help of Gollum.
Pippin and Merry got free and met with the Ents who destroyed Saruman’s tower.
Quick were the feet of Aragorn, Merry and Pippin but not quick enough to catch them so instead they helped Rohan.
Ring in hand Frodo walked into a trap set by Gollum.
Shelob was most deadly but somehow they made it through.
To the west a great battle was coming in the White City.
Unaware of the tenacity of Sam they were preparing to fight to the death.
Violence was all about as Frodo succumbed to the ring.
With no regard for his safety Gollum bit the ring from Frodo’s hand and fell into the Crack of Doom destroying the ring.
Xanthous skies greeted the Hobbit’s return to the Shire in warning.
Yet they was undetered and freed the Shire.
Zeniths were past for the Elves and Dwarves and both left the world of the Middle Earth to Men.

We can darn well try, Khadro!

Ah, I’ve seen the LotR thread more than this one, and I couldn’t care less about the movies or the books!

Around again, shall we go?

Very intimidating is this thread.

Amazing, Osiris!

Bet those LOTR sissies don’t do alphabetical stuff in their thread.

(Consider this a full-service thread!)

Darn, everybody’s doing several letters at a time now.

Be not afraid, Pelleas. We’re very friendly here.
