Finally finally finally! Animaniacs DVD sets are finally coming out!!!
This has been confirmed by Animaniacs producer Tom Ruegger, who cites an inside source from Warner Home Video. There should be a first volume in Summer 2006, followed by a second volume in December. There will also be two volumes released on the same schedule of Animaniacs’s spin-off show, Pinky and the Brain. Narf!

But what about Tiny Toons? I hope that will follow suit!

I still have my Pinky and the Brain shirt from when I was in 7th grade. Come to think of it, that’s probably the oldest shirt I have.
Some of my Xmas shopping for '06 is done. Just have to wait to buy them.

This is great news. I will end up buying them all.
Last winter they were showing them on Ntoons. My kids loved them more than any other cartoon and my daughter loves quoting Mindy & Dot. I was very happy with this as I feel they are the best done cartoons since the classic Warner Brother’s cartoons.
All 3 of us really enjoyed them. They don’t understand why I like the “Good Feathers” toons so much and they like Katie Kaboom which I don’t but otherwise I think we share an equal enjoyment.

When did Ruegger say this? I know second-hand that John McCann is aware that speakers are being chosen for commentary tracks, but we all assumed that TR was off the Internet for good. It’s not like he was chatty even when posting schedules on alt.tv.animaniacs. Where’s Ruegger?
