Animaniacs on DVD July 25

Amazon has Animaniacs vol. 1 listed with a release date of July 25. Now’s an excellent time to pre-order if you’re so inclined.

Wooooooooooooooooo Hoooooooooooooooooo!

Oh cool! Pinky & the Brain is coming out at about the same time. Double woooo hooooo!

It’s worth twice the price just to hear The Anvil Song again…

“An anvil’s black and shiny,
It’s pretty heavy too…
You know you want to meet it.
It wants to meet you too.”

See, there’s mindless violence, which is always appreciated. But to be done with such panache – it warms my ice cold heart, it does… sniff

Oooo. I’ll have to get both.

YES! YES! YES!

Now they just need to release Freakazoid! and the 2nd season of The Muppet Show and I’ll be the happiest marli in the whole world!

Now that we close to July 25 I wanted to bump this thread. I think this is a safe bump as everything in the short thread is a positive and hope I did not create a Zombie. If it is not, I am sorry.

Jim

When I heard these were coming out, I knew that my Christmas shopping for the year was basically done.

And a more current bump since we are now T-minus one week away!

Mine is on order and due to ship from Amazon.

In the Meantime check out Animaniacs on IN2TV.com Toons if you have Windows XP & Flash Player 9 & Windows Medio 10.0 or higher. If you have all that, you can watch A lot of great WB cartoons from the 90’s.
I know these are there currently:
Beetlejuice,’ ‘Pinky and the Brain,’ ‘Freakazoid,’ ‘New Adventures of Batman’ and ‘Animaniacs.’ I think Max Headroom is also available.
** Actually here are the complete requirements:**

In2TV is an official Warner Bros. service, just in case you’re curious.

Quite possibly the only good thing to come out of the AOL-Time Warner merger.

Man, this thing is great. I was going to get the DVDs anyway, but now I want them even more.

I can’t wait! I’m especially a big fan of Rob Paulsen’s (Yakko, Pinky, Dr. Scratchnsniff) voice work and so I’m eager to see the old episodes again - I have 4 VHS releases that are old and wearing out. (Holy crap, I just looked at his list of work and see that he voiced the weirdo art teacher for the Boondocks - I never would have guessed that.)
